DEMO 0.4.2 - Improvements & Fixes!

Here is what we did with it for DEMO 0.4.2!

Improvements

• Added movement tutorial
• Increased customer preference chance
• Better menu navigation
• Do not start shift when clicking register while holding a treat
• Ability to hold down button or analog stick to scroll menu
• New ingredient combo
• Added Personal Best Score tracking
• Added number of days played tracking
• Pause game if the window loses focus while on shift
• Customers will not complain about too much of an ingredient if they request that ingredient
• Right analog stick can now be used for movement also
• Added controller haptic feedback (rumble)
• Adjusted bad ingredient and bad combos score deduction
• Better score UI Popups
• Added sound and other effects to help with noticing that a customer is about to lose patience
• Improved Topper ingredient mechanic
• Added more variety to full game content teases
• Give players and extra second to deliver sandwich to improve game feel
• Show second set of decorations to let the player know they are there
• Added sounds to hovering buttons on various menus
• Other small quality of life changes
• Adjusted Demo content

Fixes

• Score UI popups will now always finish animating
• Likes score UI popup will now appear in the correct position
• Fixed state where player could not give treats or interact with cats
• Fixed not being able to return to window after going full screen
• Cat Inspect menu will now always open with the correct state
• Fixed typos
• Added Discord button focused state on controller
• Fixed jittery behavior when revealing dialogue text
• Fixed bug where player could unintentionally buy an item
